Boudoir... Literally translated it means "a woman's bedroom," but the word also owns a connotation that transcends the obvious. We grow up seeing hundreds if not thousands of impossibly gorgeous women on the covers of magazines. Beautiful women, beautifully poised. How many of us have transfixed our faces on those covers and desired to own that moment for ourselves? Many! Women of all ages are experiencing the fun of boudoir photography and enjoying its lasting benefits -- you at your absolute most beautiful preserved. Imagine owning a stunning and emotionally invoking photograph of your grandmother at the height of her beauty. I doubt such a treasure would be kept locked away.

I create boudoir photographs by placing an emphasis on personality and art form and enhancing your best features. I create only tasteful and artistic images, although I allow the client to control the level and degree of wardrobe and poses based on her comfort level.

 

The session...

Boudoir sessions can be booked at either your choice of locations or using our luxurious home set. Although most boudoir shots have varying elements of sex appeal, the emphasis is placed on comfort level of the client, personality, personal essence and art form. I use only female assistants in a relaxed, comfortable and private atmosphere. I ask that you arrive 20 minutes early to your session so that we can have a brief discussion of what you desire from your boudoir photographs and your level of comfort when shooting. I do offer instruction in modeling, and I often give detailed direction in order to create your best possible photograph. Your attributes and best features will no doubt be the foundation on which the photograph is created, but I do so in an artistic, appealing and tasteful fashion.

Edited and digitally enhanced photographs will be presented to you in a scheduled private consultation. Because of nature of the shoot and the consumption of time in digitally enhancing fine photographs, these 5x7 archival watercolor photographs will be limited to the seven finest.

Upon booking, you will be told what to bring and what we have available in terms of on-location wardrobe, make-up and hair salon services. Please feel free to bring your own personal assistant; however, I ask that you limit your assistance to only one person for the comfort and ease of the session. One-hour session at your location $300.

One-hour session on the home set $350.

One-hour session on the home set with professional hair and make-up services $415.
