A wedding and a funeral… Katharine, when booking her daughter's wedding, shared this memorable wedding day experience. Only 25 years after her wedding to Leighton, is she able to so generously share her blunder with such dignity -- which only goes to show that even the worst hitches can leave amusing memories. Shortly before her wedding, young Katharine walked into the church's sanctuary to see the flowers. To her surprise, on the alter stood an array of funeral sprays. The delivery men had apparently delivered the wedding flowers to the funeral and the funeral flowers to the wedding. She promptly called the florist. The wedding flowers at the funeral could not be retrieved. She would have to married among the arrangements the florist currently had on display at their shop. It was an option Katharine quickly went for because anything would have been better than the large yellow spray at the front of the church, which displayed a large black telephone with the receiver off the hook and the words "Jesus Called" written below.
